The injuries that sideline the most young athletes, explained in a few minutes each.
Our approach
Short lessons in plain words, built for ages 8 to 14. If a 10-year-old can't follow it, we rewrite it.
Lessons are checked against guidance from the CDC, the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and other medical groups. Each one lists its sources.
Every lesson ends with quick questions and tap-the-body-part challenges, so the habits stick.
The show
A doctor and a fitness expert answer real questions from young athletes, plus the story of how The Health Huddle started.
Host: Neelima Mehra
Broadcast host Neelima Mehra of FOX 5 interviews Vihaan about why The Health Huddle started, what it's trying to fix, and where it's going.
Guest: Dr. Mehra
Vihaan sits down with internal medicine doctor Dr. Mehra and asks the questions young athletes have about their bodies, injuries, and staying healthy.
Guest: Tarrail Damon Murphy
Marine Corps veteran and fitness expert Tarrail Damon Murphy talks discipline, training the right way, and taking care of your body so you stay in the game.
Meet the founder
I'm Vihaan Garg, a high school student in Loudoun County. I started The Health Huddle because young athletes get hurt in ways that are often preventable, and most injury advice isn't written for them.
I build the lessons, host the show, and run free sessions for local teams. If your team could use one, I'd love to hear from you.
