About us

Our mission

The Health Huddle is a student-led nonprofit in Loudoun County, Virginia, that teaches young athletes how to prevent sports injuries. Every injury avoided is more time playing the game they love.

We do it three ways: free sessions for local teams and schools, short interactive lessons about each part of the body, and a show where we ask experts the questions young athletes have.

Who runs it

Started by a local student

Vihaan Garg, a high school student in Loudoun County, started The Health Huddle. He builds the Body Lab lessons, hosts the show, and leads the free team sessions.

How we keep it accurate

Checked, sourced, and honest

  • Checked against medical guidance

Every lesson is compared with guidance from groups like the CDC, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and shows the sources it was checked against.

  • Prevention, not treatment

We teach the habits that lower the chance of getting hurt. We don't diagnose or treat injuries, so an athlete who is hurt should see a doctor or athletic trainer.

  • Private by design

Kids never need an account, and we never collect athletes' names or personal information.
